We have an opening for a community Recreation Assistant and would love to have you join us. Come help individuals with disabilities enjoy exercise, foster independence, gain new skills and build friendships. We are currently looking for a staff person to assist with our bowling group. The schedule and hours vary. More details will be provided. The hourly rate is $12.00.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Acceptable Criminal Record, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint required.
- Passing of physical/TB test required
JOB SUMMARY:
Duties for the Recreation Assistant include planning, assessing and leading community-based recreation programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Implement daily activities assigned.
2. Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating Rec programs, as assigned.
3. Assist supervisor and Rec staff in meeting established goals.
4. Work directly with clients at programs.
5. Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
6. Be flexible with shifts assigned (i.e. daytime and evening hours.
